Postdene reservoir level is low due to pumps tripping after last night’s rain. Eskom’s been notified about the issue. The Community of Postdene must expect water interruptions as we are working to resolve the problem.

Government Communication and Information System together with Vaal Central Water and Tsantsabane Local Municipality in Postmasburg are currently busy with a Public Education Session on water conservation, vandalism of infrastructure and its impact on water supply as well as role of Municipality versus Vaal Central Water. Municipality is a water services authority, it supplies to end users while Vaal Central Water is water service provider to municipalities, mines, and some farmers.
