Tsantsabane employees celebrate International Nelson Mandela Day by cleaning the Municipal buildings. And the program will at a later stage be donating food trolley and clothes to a local NPO
Mayor of Tsantsabane cllr Helena English together with the representative and of SASSA of in Tsantsabane and representative of Post bank, Standard Bank held a meeting with the grant beneficiaries at Newtown Community Hall.
The purpose was explain to the beneficiaries the reasons why beneficiaries were not receiving their grants with Post Bank cards.
Post bank representatives promised to come back in this Month to deal with issues of cards, the date and venue will be communicated soon.
Issues to be discussed
1. Presentation by Assmang Beeshoek Mine to update the Council regarding the SLP 4.
2 Electricity report regarding Stasie Community.
3.Municipal Debt Relief Programme.
4.Cost Containment report for quarter 3 of 2025/2026
Postdene is currently having water supply challenges this is due to pump problems, we are Pumping with two borehole pumps from Gatkoppies. A fault has been logged to Eskom and we are waiting for them to assist.
Some areas receive water however due to low Reservoir levels areas affected include Beeshoek Houses, Carnation, West End and Postdene Phase 2.
Water shedding schedule will be shared and also water tanks will be available to assist.
